BOBCAT ONE (BOB1)
With the implementation of the new BOBCAT ONE (BOB1) Non-RNAV SID and
the revision of the HORNET (HOR) & PANTHER (PAN) SIDs, new turbojet
departure routes for Charlotte and Charlotte area airports were
effective April 10, 2008. Generally, the greatest impact to aircraft
departing Charlotte International (CLT), Concord Regional (JQF), Rowan
County (RUQ), Rock Hill/York Co/Bryant Field (UZA), & Gastonia Municipal
(AKH) are for those flights that previously filed HORNET (HOR) SID and
the OAKUM or HARAY Transitions. These routings have been revised
extensive ly and are now incorporated into the BOBCAT ONE SID.
Aircraft previously filing HOR2.HARAY over the SPA VORTAC, except those
landing Atlanta area airports, should now file BOB1.DEBIE..AHN. Aircraft
destined for Atlanta Area airports (Atlanta International, Fulton
County, Peachtree DeKalb, etc.) should file BOB1.HARAY.SPA..ODF and the
appropriate STAR. Those previously filing HOR2.OAKUM over the GQO, BNA
or VXV VORTACs should now file BOB1.ZAVER..VXV. Only aircraft landing
Lovell Field (CHA) or Huntsville International-Carl T Jones Field (HSV)
filing AOB FL230 should a route over the HRS, GQO, or RQZ VORTACs.
